The apartment is
located in Puerto Rico in a quiet residential area on top of the
west hill with views overlooking the sea at Amadores. With a
south facing terrace the sun catchers can sit around and relax
to the heat of the Canary Islands all day.
The complex consists of 15 privately owned apartments some are
used by residents and others holiday homes and permanent lets.
There is a ramp for wheelchair access, which is also helpful for
wheeling those large cases after a long journey. The complex
also consists of a private pool for use by residents and guests
only. The on site caretaker keeps the complex clean and tidy
throughout the week.
For those of you
who enjoy the nightlife the Europa Centre is only a 10 minute
stroll away with breathtaking views over the whole of Puerto
Rico as you walk. The Europa Centre is the hub of the local area
and consists of supermarkets, bars, restaurants, internet access
can also be found here in one of the arcades, which will keep
the children occupied for hours. There are also other activities
for children at the Europa centre.
For Beach lovers
there are 2 man made golden sandy beaches, if you are feeling
adventurous then a walk down the hill to either will take
approximately 30 minutes, the local bus stop is only 200 metres
away or hop in one of the many taxes that can be found around
the area. Taxis are a great way to get around the island with a
taxi ride from the beach to the apartment costing €4. Puerto
Rico has another commercial centre at the bottom of the hill,
this is the main centre for the area very similar to the Europa
Centre but on a larger scale.
The apartment
has one bedroom, a bathroom, and open plan kitchen/dining/living
room. The apartment sleeps 4 people with a double bed in the
bedroom and a comfortable sofabed in the lounge, for those of
you with a small child we also have a travel cot. There is also a private parking space off road.
The apartment
has all the facilities you should need during your stay.
Air conditioning has been installed in the kitchen to keep the
whole apartment cool.
The kitchen has
everything you need to dine in for up to 4 people, with a
cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster.
The bathroom
has a toilet, sink, shower and full size washing machine. The
first aid kit can also be found here.
The bedroom has
a double bed, clock radio, hair dryer, fan, large fitted
wardrobes and bedside cabinets. Bed linen is provided and
additional pillows can be found in the wardrobes. Towels are
also provided but we request that you don’t take these to the
beach. Please provide you own beach towels.
The lounge has a
sofa bed, coffee table, LCD TV with English News channels, a
French music channel and various channels of different languages. DVD
player that will play CD’s. There is also a dining table and 4
chairs.
The terrace
covers the width of the apartment and has a table, 4 chairs and
sun lounger.
There is also a terrace cover if it’s too hot!
